Our Story
Silver Tsunami Investments was founded by husband and wife team, Ken Middleton and Lena Kang.
They love the the amazing legacy that baby boomers have built with so many small businesses and want to preserve these legacies by acquiring these business and helping them continue to thrive. By doing so, they strive to operate them in a manner that make the sellers feel great about their decision to sell to them.

Ken has a 15-plus year career in IT professional services, building and leading teams to create operational efficiencies and processes for success, while Lena has a 10-plus year career in recruiting and HR operations to help build great culture.

Together, they partner to not only build great businesses that successfully meet the bottom line goal of profit but to also build great cultures that will last for long-term success.
Their goal is to ensure that any seller that trusts them enough to sell their business to them will do so knowing their people and their "baby" will be well taken care of.

Culture is everything to us. At the end of the day, this is the guiding light that creates the trajectory of everything we do in the business. This must be protected and adhered to at all cost.
How We'll Pay for It

10% Equity Injection
It is important to us to inject our own equity into any deal to show how serious we are for it succeed. Outside of just the time and dedication we are going to invest into the business, we also invest our own capital to show our commitment and belief in growing your legacy for as long as possible.

10% Seller Financing
In the same token, we desire a true partnership with the previous sellers. You're the reason that the business has been successful for so long, and we need your help to ensure we keep it going in that direction. This small financing request ensure our motivations are aligned.

80% Bank Financing
Either through commercial or SBA means, we will obtain the remaining portion of the purchase through bank financing. We already have a number of lenders with whom we've been pre-qualified to move quickly on any opportunity that comes our way.
